Cantore square, 4 – Milan
Developed on two levels, the new restaurant of Milan ”da Willy” can host up to 120 places inside and 150 on the external terrace. For the flooring of the 170 square meters of the restaurant, as also to cover the wall of the main hall, the entrance bar and to finish a characteristic wall with wooden furnishing, have been selected the ceramic floor and wall tiles of the Fucina collection of Tagina’s Ceramiche d'Arte. The iridescent metal effect surfaces of the tiles can get by the time and trample minimum variation of shade and brightness, that can give to the ceramic floor a characteristic timeworn effect, that it’s a sought particularity to exalt the imperfection of the material. The same surfaces show sometimes some rings of different extension, due to the emergence of metallic oxides, rings that represent other characteristic of this ceramic floor tile. This particular aesthetical effect of the tiles creates light effects that give movement and volume to the covered surfaces of the restaurant.
